Ways to Give

On their journey to adulthood, children and young people need someone by their side who is there for them, listens to them, understands them, and supports them, no matter what. These strong bonds are crucial for their personal growth towards becoming their strongest selves. Our work would not be possible without the commitment of our amazing supporters – every donation counts.

In Mauritius, all profitable companies are required in a year to set up their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund of an amount equivalent to 2% of their chargeable income of the preceding income year.

75% of the CSR Fund is remitted to the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) for onward remittance to the National Social Inclusion Foundation (NSIF). The remaining 25% of the CSR Fund could be used to finance a CSR project of SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius.

CSR is becoming increasingly important in today’s business world. It is a successful approach for your company to engage in activities that help society at large.

Let CSR be at the heart of your business model and give your CSR contribution to help disadvantaged children, young people and families who are supported by SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius.

Our work is only possible because of your support!

Partner with us

SOS Children’s Villages understands the critical role that businesses play in creating sustainable change for vulnerable children.  We want to embrace transformational and strategic partnerships with businesses that share our values. We partner with companies and organisations in achieving our common Sustainable Development Goals.

Ways to Partner with Us

Join us in creating lasting impact through meaningful partnerships that uplift and empower children, youth, and communities. Together, we can transform lives through the following initiatives:

Cause Related Marketing

Organisations can partner with SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius through cause-related marketing initiatives that connect business objectives with positive social impact. In this type of partnership, a company links the promotion or sale of a product, service, or campaign to support children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it.

Partners may contribute a percentage of sales, a fixed amount per product, or proceeds from a specific campaign period. These collaborations help raise awareness while generating resources that strengthen programmes supporting children and young people in situations of vulnerability.

Partners can support access to education for children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it through educational assistance and scholarship initiatives. These partnerships help ensure that children and young people in situations of vulnerability have the opportunity to continue their education, develop skills, and prepare for independent and fulfilling futures.

Support may include scholarships, school materials, vocational training, higher education support, or contributions to learning programmes that strengthen educational outcomes. Educational partnerships are implemented in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius team to ensure support is equitable, sustainable, and aligned with the needs and aspirations of children and young people.

Align your brand with a cause that matters. Collaborate on campaigns that drive both social good and business success.

Partners can contribute to programmes that support young people without parental care or at risk of losing it as they transition into adulthood. Youth care and empowerment initiatives focus on strengthening life skills, education, employability, and emotional well-being so that young people can build independent and stable futures.

Partnership support may include mentorship programmes, vocational training, career readiness initiatives, entrepreneurship development, and access to safe spaces where young people can learn, connect, and grow. These collaborations help equip young people with the confidence, skills, and opportunities needed to participate actively in their communities and pursue their aspirations.

Organisations can support SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius through donations in kind that contribute directly to the well-being and development of children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it. These contributions may include essential goods, educational materials, technology, professional services, or other resources that strengthen programmes and learning environments.

In-kind partnerships are coordinated with SOS Children’s Villages Mauritius to ensure that all contributions respond to identified needs and align with safeguarding and quality standards. Through these collaborations, partners can help create supportive environments where children and young people in situations of vulnerability have access to the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
