Strengthen Families
Children and young people need someone by their side who is there for them, listens to them, understands them, and supports them, no matter what. By addressing the reasons for family breakdown, society can significantly reduce the number of children who need out-of-home care. Such investments serve to create stronger families overall, who are then able to provide the strong bonds and support children and young people need as they transition into adulthood.
How we help families stay together
In our direct work with families, we offer a range of services, such as:
- Family Empowerment
- Counselling and Psychological support
- Parenting skills for families to properly care for their children
- Group therapy with young people, Individual sessions, parent’s workshop
- Access to education for girls and boys, including school fees, school uniforms, learning materials, tutoring and after-school tuition, vocational training
- Reference to other type of services offered by Government & NGOs and partnership with other institutions
- Awareness campaigns on Child’s rights
